    Colonel Henry Hope Crealock - Artist (1831 - 1891)

    Colonel Crealock was a British professionall soldier who had served in the British Army during the Crimean War and had also been posted to India, China, Vienna, Ireland and South Africa. Crealock retired from the Army in 1884 with the rank of Lieutenant General. As well as being a professional soldier Crealock was a talented painter, draughtsman and author.
