This cylinder-shaped custard cup or dessert pot is made from a fine sheet of moulded primrose jasper which has been decorated with a crenellated edge and the ornamentation of a fine white jasper lattice or trellis design. It has an applied twisted white jasper handle and a pierced cover. It was made between 1785 and 1790.
