Museum kits available for loan

The Wedgwood Museum has developed a range of kits containing museum objects and teachers' notes, which are available for £60 per half term. Inclusive in the loan fee is a brief session with a member of the education team so you can make the most out of the resources. All kits are contained within airline cases, which will easily fit in the boot or on the backseat of a car.

Loans kits include:

Ferdinand The Bull

Ferdinand was created for Wedgwood by designer, modeller and conscientious objector Arnold Machin. Ferdinand bears a striking resemblance to a bull in a children's story of the same name - a bull who didn't want to fight in the bullring - but wanted to sit in the field and smell the flowers! Boxes contain a unique Ferdinand and 'The Story of Ferdinand' books. Ferdinand is suitable across the key stages and can be used to explore issues surrounding diversity, citizenship and anti-bullying.

Portrait medallions

Wedgwood's iconic portrait medallions have featured the great and the good over the years. This box features 6 modern portrait medallions and can be used to for both art and design and citizenship at Key Stage 2 and above.
