The Wedgwood Museum is located at the Wedgwood factory, nestling in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, just 10 minutes from Junction 15 of the M6.

Arriving by car?
From the M6 follow the A34, either southwards from Junction 15 or northwards from Junction 14. From the M1 leave the motorway at Junction 24 and take the A50 towards Stoke-on-Trent. In all cases to get to Wedgwood it's always best to follow the brown tourist signs. Using satnav? Our postcode will take you to a variety of different places, depending on your satnav system! If you enter ST12 9FA your satellite-navigation system will bring you to the edge of the Wedgwood estate. Alternatively enter these co-ordinates into your satnav system - N52° 57.305 W2° 10.231. Remember to trust road signs over technology! When you arrive there is plenty of free parking at the Wedgwood site. Just follow the signs to the Wedgwood Museum and Visitor Centre.

Arriving by boat?
It is not as ridiculous as it sounds. The Trent and Mersey Canal runs right past the Wedgwood factory. The Museum is a mere 3-minute walk from the canal. The nearest bridge to the Wedgwood Museum is 104. Visit www.waterscape.com for more information about canal boating on the Trent and Mersey Canal.

Arriving by train?
The Wedgwood Museum is a 15-minute drive from Stoke-on-Trent station and only a 25-minute drive from Stafford railway station. Catch a cab from the taxi ranks at either station, or opt for one of the bus services from either Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford. For more information on trains and times go to The Bakerbus.

Arriving by bus?
The Bakerbus X1 runs between Stoke and Stafford and stops 5 minutes walk from the Wedgwood Museum. For up to date timetable and fare information go to The Bakerbus. Remember if you are traveling by bus to leave plenty of time for your journey.

Our location in the heart of England means that we are close to 3 major airports: Manchester, East Midlands and Birmingham International.

Arriving by foot?
The towpath of the Trent and Mersey Canal provides a picturesque and leisurely walk to Wedgwood. For a short walk park in Barlaston. For the more adventurous the walk from Trentham is 30-45 minutes, and the journey from the pretty canal town of Stone will take about an hour and a half.
